to certain life experiences---to measure our stress levels.
- Job change
- Large car repairs
- Flood damage and repair
- ER visit
- Wedding planning
We are getting excited as we are getting nearer our goal of 100%. Thank you all who pray for us and for the sacrifices you make to support this ministry with your finances.
The flood recovery process is going well; we are still in the state of reorganizing things, but it's quite usable, looking nice, and staying dry (no more sump pump failures!) Jean has no issues from the ER visit, but still has some painful flare-ups, possibly from gout.
We have had a two-part sermon set from our pastor at McCoy, here in Elkhart. It has been a very good reminder that even though we follow the Lord faithfully, life does not necessarily get better.
This was centered around the Bible text of Exodus. Just like Moses, it does not matter how we feel, what we think, or what our current situation has become. What matters is that we trust God, we remember that there is a plan, and that God will indeed accomplish each and every thing that He promised He would do.
It has been amazing--a lot of hard work, but completely amazing. We are blown away and clearly see God's hand and leading in all of this.
