An Early Christmas for the Andersons

We were so happy to be able to all be together. JR could only get enough time off to make the the long travel worthwhile during the second week of December. So, of course we did our family Christmas then!

We attempted to take pictures outside for "that one shot" we could use as a card or post or something! We even coordinated, this time, but the cold moved us inside quickly! We were able to get some photos that would work.

It's just nice to be together. It was great to get together all of us...to share in a nice and special meal and exchange some presents. We are all so blessed, here in the U.S. that we were creative in our giving to each other, trying to think of others with much less in world.

Though the weather was uncooperative, we were able to share extended time together, going to the Elkhart train museum and just even fast food together. The reality set in as one-by-one we all had to r return to our work schedules.

As the family gets larger and larger, it gets more and more difficult to all get together, but majority of us celebrated on Jean's side of the family later during the month of December, which I thought was pretty good as in past years we had to wait until the new year!

We had our traditions of a whole family game, Yankee Swap (where we really do receive some VERY interesting things), and yummy foods.

Family is great. Traditions are nice. Trying new things is fun, too.

Many blessings to everyone for the new year!
