On the second day of Christmas, JESUS gave to us – two new grandchildren coming in January 2026, two new roles for Jean in finance both at SonSet Solutions and at our church, granddaughter Marley who turned two this past March, two grandchildren who take piano lessons, two grandsons involved with baseball, and Jean's opportunity to speak at two women’s retreats this year.
On the third day of Christmas, JESUS gave to us – three college career fairs in October where we represented SonSet Solutions, where we were able to speak to many students who are interested in combining their gifts with ministry.
On the fourth day of Christmas, JESUS gave to us – four times when John filled the pulpit, and four grandchildren who have stolen our hearts.
On the fifth day of Christmas, JESUS gave to us – our grandson Abel who turned five in June.
On the sixth day of Christmas, JESUS gave to us – a great trip to Kijani Farm in Kenya during the sixth month of this year.
On the seventh day of Christmas, JESUS gave to us – seven really great summer interns at SonSet Solutions.
On the eighth day of Christmas, JESUS gave to us – a fun vacation during this eighth month of the year, with our extended family. We love being all together!
On the ninth day of Christmas, JESUS gave to us – our granddaughter Eleanor who turned nine in September. (Nine years old in the ninth month of the year.)
On the tenth day of Christmas, JESUS gave to us – the SonSet Solutions Tenth Anniversary Bash on 10/10/2025, and 10 solar-powered SonSetLink™ units sent for water pumps in Zambia supplying water to a few thousand people that would not have clean water otherwise.
On the eleventh day of Christmas, JESUS gave to us – our grandson Micah who will be eleven this month.
On the twelfth day of Christmas, JESUS gave to us – dozens of chicken and duck eggs from a fellow SonSet Solutions coworker, and at least twelve weeks hosting volunteers, coworkers, and visitors in our home.
